Carnival!!

We had such good fun at the school carnival. Here are some pics of the whole event. Huge thank you to Simon from Bristol Plays Music who led the Samba band and to our hugely talented friends from Global Grooves who were kind enough to provide us with our new school mascot.

Our homemade digestion system

In Literacy, we are learning about the digestive system and will creating explanation texts about how our bodies function.
This afternoon, we made our own (rather disgusting) digestive system!

Bank trip

We spent some time this morning at Lloyds Bank and it was fascinating! Look at the pictures of us holding bags of 500 £1 coins!

Bus tour

What an adventure we had today!
We were collected by an open top bus this morning, and we were taken on a tour through the historic and famous streets of Bristol. We then walked across the Suspension Bridge and some of us were even brave enough to look down!
We thoroughly enjoyed learning about this amazing city and feel very lucky to live here.
